Ingredients:
1 nicely sized yam.
4 tbsp olive oil
6 garlic cloves
The Salted Rooster Chicken Salt, to taste
Have some parchment paper handy
Instructions:
- Wash your yam and then cut into smaller cubes.
- Set your oven to 160C/350F.
- Boil your cubes until they’re tender.
- Break out a glass and then cover the bottom of it with parchment paper. We will then break out a baking tray and then “smash” your cubes onto it with our glass/parchment paper contraption.
- Mix your olive oil, garlic, and chicken salt (a teaspoon or two should do) and then brush them on your smashed yams.
- Bake for roughly 30-50 minutes. The baking time will vary depending on the size of your smashed yams, so start checking them after 30 minutes.
